The vegetable plot

Mamma Carmela’s vegetable plot is at the disposal of the guests who stay in the country homes. Depending on availability, guests may pick fruit and vegetables.

In the vegetable garden we cultivate the best that the volcanic soil of Ustica offers: genuine flavours that seemed to have been long forgotten, so you can taste them at their best.
Aubergines, courgettes, capers, tomatoes, parsley, basil and other vegetables and herbs biologically cultivated and in harmony with the environment, thanks to the sun and the clean country air on the island of Ustica.
The vegetable plot is the highlight of a holiday with a lasting experience: picking your own vegetables and cooking them directly with the freshest possible fish from the Mediterranean. Together with the vegetables, different varieties of fruit including the sweetest figs will transform a holiday, especially those of you from the cities, into a memory that won’t be forgotten.
